Roth is a graduate of Monroe Township High School where he wrote for school’s newspaper for four years, while also playing for the varsity baseball team. During his freshman year at TCNJ, he was a contributor at RantSports.com in which he covered all things University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill basketball. After his short stint with Rant Sports, Roth ventured further into the world of web journalism by taking an internship for a startup website called Tremr.com.
