They said they were looking forward to heading to Miami to play the Dolphins.

The Patriots made it to the Hardrock Stadium on Sunday, September 15th, but remained unsure about their newest addition, an embattled wide receiver

Antonio Brown stole the show, playing his first game with his new team. He caught a touchdown pass that had sent him over the wall and into the stands of cheering fans like a much warmer version of the Lambeau Leap

As always, Brown was in the spotlight on the field, but off the field it has not been so bright for the former all-pro. In the past week, Brown was accused by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, of three incidents of sexual assault in 2017 and 2018. One of these accused incidents is rape.

These allegations became public knowledge a week ago, followed by the kickoff of a formal investigation, including a 10-hour interview between Taylor and the NFL.

With the Patriots were only moderately preoccupied with their opponent, blowing out the hometown ‘Fins 43-0, the NFL wasted no time getting to the bottom of the story and looking for new leads.

One new piece of evidence that was discovered two days ago was  a sexual misconduct issue between Brown and a woman he had hired to paint a mural for him in his home, Sports Illustrated’s Robert Klemko reported.

In the SI coverage on Brown, new light was shed on those who have been in his circle, which included many of whom were not happy with him and have taken legal actions against the player.

Brown’s true colors, that are not just the blue, red and silver of the Patriots, are beginning to show more than ever.

As he continues to take on the cheers of fans and his team, it is still in question what his future will entail in regards to the allegations against him.
