DJ is currently a senior at The College of New Jersey who is finishing up a degree in Marketing as well as a minor in Professional Writing. Before The College of New Jersey, DJ attended Ramsey High School in Ramsey, NJ where he ran track, serving as a team captain during his senior year. He continued his career at the collegiate level, running for the Lions though only for his freshman year.
After his athletic career ended, he knew he wanted to stay involved in the sports world. He acquired a job with the Athletic Department on campus where he currently works as a manager for the student game staff workers and as a supervisor in the Rec Center while also helping with facility maintenance from time to time. In addition, he spent this past summer interning for the Rockland Boulders, a minor league baseball team in Pomona, NY, in their ticket sales department.
He has run his own sports blog, Lets Play, since October of 2015, where his posts cover all sports although they have recently focused more on baseball. His favorite teams include the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Villanova Wildcats Men’s Basketball.
After graduation, DJ plans to get a job working with either a professional Baseball or Basketball organization and eventually earn an MBA with the goal of one day working as a front office executive.
